Artist Statement:

 

Sarcasdrake is a digital piece done as a submission for a dragon book. I’ve often wondered about tiny dragons and baby dragons, curious if they were always fierce and how they began to create their hoards. Did they rob and pillage or slowly collect over time? This little baby dragon found a shiny coin and immediately sat upon it to guard in the coming years like those who came before him.
